I have known Berhane Wedi Atsbu for many years, until recently, I never knew that he wrote the song, "Jemila, Jemila, Gual Asmara/Jemila, Jemila, Daughter of Asmara"/.
I sat down with him at the Eritrean Community Center in Oakland, California. He was accompanied by Qana Eritrea, an Eritrean band.
